There are lot of things that changed world, but i think that computers changed the world in best way.Computer is machine or manipulating data according to a list of instructions.Computers are taking the best place in the world , they can be found everywhere : at school , at work, medicine,goverment and many other places which are really important for our future.Computers take numerous physical forms. Early electronic computers were the size of a large room, consuming as much power as several hundred modern personal computers.t is difficult to define any one device as the earliest computer. The very definition of a computer has changed and it is therefore impossible to identify the first computer. Many devices once called "computers" would no longer qualify as such by today's standards.Originally, the term "computer" referred to a person who performed numerical calculations ( A), often with the aid of a mechanical calculating device. Examples of early mechanical computing devices included the abacus, the slide rule and arguably the astrolabe and the a (which dates from about 150-100 BC). The end of the Middle Ages saw a re-invigoration of European mathematics and engineering, and Wilhelm Schickard's 1623 device was the first of a number of mechanical calculators constructed by European engineers.
The first computer generations was (1951-1959)

• 1951: Mauchly and Eckert built the UNIVAC I, the first computer designed and sold commercially, specifically for business data-processing applications.
• 1950s: Dr. Grace Murray Hopper developed the UNIVAC I compiler.
• 957: The programming language FORTRAN (FORmula TRANslator) was designed by John Backus, an IBM engineer.
• 1959: Jack St. Clair Kilby and Robert Noyce of Texas Instruments manufactured the first integrated circuit, or chip, which is a collection of tiny little transistors.

• The second computer generation started from 1959 and finished in 1965
• 1960s: Gene Amdahl had disagned IBM SISTEM series computer .
• 1961: Dr. Hopper was instrumental in developing the COBOL
• 1963: Ken Olsen, founder of DEC
• 1965: BASIC (Beginners All-purpose Symbolic Instruction Code

The hardware is is the physical part of computer.A typical Personal computer consists of a case or chassis in desktop or tower shape and the following parts:
